Studio Catch!

For the past month and a half I’ve been trying to squeeze in all the color and digital painting work that I’ve neglected for this past year. While I struggle so much with it, it’s rather therapeutic to just focus on one image for hours (instead of minutes or seconds as is required by day job as a story artist – and sometimes director.)

But, it’s been a fun challenge to push myself in design, composition, and color as well as painting technique – though I obviously need to take a proper painting class again… but I hope to continue to do this in the coming year and maybe try and contribute to other projects as a character designer as well – I’m available for freelance! 😉

Thank you all for your support in 2018. It really mattered. Here’s hoping my art will bring more joy excitement to 2019.
