This is the first year in more than a few that I post a new years’s image a little later than Jan 1st, and it feels great. I just got back from a much needed vacation, connecting with family and friends whom I hadn’t seen in many, many years, and it was exactly what I needed in my life right now. Hardships still exist, there is still a world wide pandemic at large, but I think the last few weeks have greatly given me some much needed perspective on life, work, art, relationships, and everything else that was pulling me away from the real things that are important to me. So, I’m deciding to choose more joy and more lightness in my life and my work, amidst all the struggles that will surely come, and surprises too. Here’s hoping to a joyful 2023 with family, friends, and art.

Cheers.
