Fifi has a keen sense of smell but not a lot of good deductive reasoning. Ellie has too much deductive reasoning, but can’t imagine the absurd notion of Pearl being there in disguise… or that’s how I justify this story point, ok?

Stacie Shields is one very optimistic goalie. She falls and misses defenses constantly, but never gives up that fighting spirit to get up and try again. She’s one of the many characters in this comic that I can’t wait to write more of as the world widens for the main characters as well.

I’m not big on resolutions, but if there’s one thing I’d like to do this year, is to get back to pitching my projects. So, to help me get back on that horse, I decided to work on this illo/sketch. I think I actually sketched this on paper about a year ago, but I kept looking at it, and then just thought I should take it one step (or more) further and make it fun for myself. So, here’s to making stuff! 😉
