Quick wind down sketch for a Friday night. It’s based on something I did on paper that really went off the rails, but I still liked the color and texture, so I just went ahead and painted over it with some faux pencil and oil Clip Studio Paint brushes. Gonna be drawing teens with boxer gloves till the end of time.
Trying to do more color illustrations this year because I really miss designing and painting. So, even if it’s just a sketch, I wanna try and post more to get myself motivated to get back into thinking in terms of visual development/character design.
Let’s face the looming shadow of 2018 after an ardous 2017 and know that whatever darkness lies before us, light can overcome it and support us from within and without. Also hoping to finish another chapter of my comic, do more illustrations, play more games, read more comics, work less and earn more… cuz who doesn’t? Cheers ya’ll!
After months of not touching my comic pages, it was nice to open some files for the last couple of weeks and start cleaning up roughs that I had finished for the latest chapter. So, to psych myself up, I decided to paint this… (also, I’ve been watching a lot of DBFZ gameplay videos. 😉 )
I’ll post more progress pages soon as well.

Hair Princess Harlow
This is another one of the projects I have in the back burner. This one might be the oldest, as it started as a storyboard assignment at school over a decade ago, then became a better developed storyboard for a short film pitch a few years ago, and then a (very barely developed) series pitch after that. Every once in a while I keep poking at it, developing it further. I posted some of these character designs on my other social media pages before, but I just thought of posting it all in one place with some newer stuff.
